Group Facilitator, Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) & Emergency Therapist, PEP Full Time, benefit eligible position available. In the Group Facilitator role, you will facilitate, plan and coordinate groups on a daily basis and will support the PSR supervisor in planning and executing departmental vision and goals. In this role you will complete assessments, develop and coordinate a PSR plan or a caseload, attend ITP meetings for said clients and provide PSR as identified in ITP. You will also be expected to provide supportive counseling as needed for PSR clients. In the Emergency Therapist role, you will be responsible for providing emergency assessments and crisis intervention to adults and children at hospital emergency department in Elgin. Arrange psychiatric hospitalization and referrals as necessary. Qualifications: Master’s degree in human services field required, current LSW or LPC license is required. One year of clinical experience, with some crisis work and experience in facilitating groups preferred. Must have valid Illinois driver’s license and automobile insurance. 

Hours: Monday, Thursday, Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (21 hours) as Group Facilitator and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. (11.5 hours) as Emergency Therapist to total 32.5 hour workweek. Some availability for additional shifts at PEP.

Bilingual Administrative Support Specialist (Receptionist) – PT Position available. Answer switchboard, transfer calls, and assist clients with paperwork, schedule appointments and other general office duties.  Qualifications:  One year of telephone operating and data entry experience.  Must be bilingual (Spanish).  Must have good phone skills, be courteous, have clear diction and proper pronunciation skills, and enjoy working with the public.  Accurate typing skills, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and other computer programs.  Hours: Monday 8:30am – 1:30pm, Tuesday 8:30am – 3:30pm & Wednesday 8:30 am – 1:30 pm.  Additional hours may be available for staff coverage.

Billing Office Assistant – FT Position available. Verify client insurance coverage and benefits. Verify client income and complete Fee Share Agreements. Data entry of client billing and insurance information. Post client and insurance payments and balance payments daily. Analyze denials & refunds and take appropriate steps for correction and resubmission. Review client accounts for billing errors, updates, and issue adjustments as needed. Qualifications: High School degree required; college degree preferred. Bilingual, Spanish preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a medical office setting with medical claims and processing denials. Possess a working knowledge of medical insurance terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem solving skills; able to anticipate problems/solve them as they occur. Thorough; attention to detail. Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hour work week, eligible for benefits) 

Staff Nurse – PT, Clinic Position available. Assist providers, administer injections, and respond to patient calls and inquiries. Qualifications: RN with current Illinois license. Psychiatric nursing experience required; bilingual Spanish a plus. Hours: Wednesday and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (16 total hours per week) 

Staff Nurse –PT, Crisis Residential Position available. Counsel, coordinate treatment plans, and manage crises for assigned clients. Assess/evaluate and treat minor medical problems for Crisis Residential clients, and assist in scheduling medical appointments and lab tests in the community when necessary.  Qualifications: valid Illinois RN License.  Nursing experience in a mental health setting preferred. Must have valid Illinois driver’s license, automobile and auto insurance. Hours: Saturday and Sunday 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (16 total hours per week) possible split for every other weekend.

Mental Health Professional – PT & Pool, Supervised Residential Program, Two positions available. Provide rehabilitation services, contribute to and develop treatment plans and manage crisis for all residential clients. Handle referrals and discharges for residential services. Assist clients in obtaining/maintaining entitlements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Field or five years’ experience in Mental Health field and must have good computer skills. Willingness to work regularly scheduled hours, holidays and overtime in emergency situations. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with mentally ill adults, and to administer CPR.  Must have valid Illinois driver’s license, auto insurance and automobile.
