Psychiatrist – PT  Position available.Part time psychiatrist needed for busy outpatient community mental health clinic. See new and established patients for diagnosis, evaluation and medication management. Document clinical notes in electronic medical record; use electronic prescribing system. Hours: Flexible 6 – 20 hours weekly, Monday – Friday; no weekends, holidays, night or on-call work. 


Emergency Therapist – FT, PEP Position available. Provide emergency assessments and crisis intervention to adults and children at hospital emergency department in Elgin.  Arrange psychiatric hospitalization and referrals as necessary. Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in social services, social work or counseling required. Some crisis work experience preferred. Hours: 34.5 hour workweek: Saturday 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, Sunday 12:00 midnight – 10:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. – 12:00 midnight, Monday 12:00 midnight – 10:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, Tuesday 12:00 midnight – 10:30 a.m.


Group Facilitator- PT, PSR Position available. Develop, deliver and document group therapy for the purpose of teaching a variety of recovery oriented skills to enable community integration. Perform supportive counseling as needed. Coordinate and oversee activities as needed. Supervise student interns. Qualifications:  Master’s degree in social services, social work or counseling and one year mental health experience required.  Must have the ability to work cooperatively with mentally ill adults and have high energy, patience, and skill in establishing relationships.  Hours: 21 hour workweek: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30a.m. – 3:30 p.m. 

Therapist – PT- Bilingual Spanish, Community Counseling Position available. Qualifications: Master’s degree in human service field and experience providing individual therapy to adults. Bilingual Spanish required; LCSW or LCPC licensure preferred. Must be able to work independently. Hours:  flexible with some late afternoons/evenings; every other Saturday is required. 

Mental Health Professional – PT Several positions available. Provide rehabilitation services, contribute to and develop treatment plans and manage crisis for all residential clients. Handle referrals and discharges for residential services. Assist clients in obtaining/maintaining entitlements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Field or five years’ experience in Mental Health field. Willingness to work regularly scheduled hours, holidays and overtime in emergency situations. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with mentally ill adults, and to administer CPR.  Must have valid Illinois driver’s license, auto insurance and automobile. Crisis Residential: Every other Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (8 hours every other week)

Every other Saturday/Sunday 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. (8 hours weekly)

Every Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (8 hours weekly)

Supervised Residential: Every other Friday 11:30 p.m. – Saturday 7:30 a.m. (8 hours every other week)
