Emergency Therapist – FT, PEP Position available. Provide emergency assessments and crisis intervention to adults and children at hospital emergency department in Elgin.  Arrange psychiatric hospitalization and referrals as necessary. Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in social services, social work or counseling required. Current LPC or LSW license required (or ability to attain within 3 months of hire). Some crisis work experience preferred. Hours: Tuesday 10:00 p.m. to Wednesday 10:30 a.m., Wednesday 10:00 p.m. – Thursday 10:30 a.m. and Thursday 10:00 p.m. – Friday 10:30 a.m. (34.5 hour work week, with some additional hours as needed).   

 

Bilingual Case Manager - FT, Case Management Position available. Assist adults with persistent or recurrent mental illness live independently in the community via locating housing, food & transportation resources, applying for entitlements, providing counseling and life skill training and advocating for the client's needs. Complete Mental Health Assessments, DLA and LOCUS, and develop goal oriented ITPs that are strength-based and recovery oriented on all assigned clients as required. Provide assistance with walk-in intakes as needed, as well as outreach in emergency situations. Provide accurate, quality documentation within a maximum of 48 hours after service delivery. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service field and minimum 1year clinical experience, including crisis intervention and stabilization. Ability to read, write and speak Spanish fluently. Must have valid Illinois driver's license, auto insurance and automobile.  Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 35 hour work week.

Therapist – PT- Bilingual Spanish, Elgin Therapy Position available. Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapies on a regular basis, meeting established standards. Complete Comprehensive Assessments, goal oriented Individual Treatment Plans, and quality documentation which includes progress notes and other relevant information for the client’s medical records. Qualifications: LCSW licensed bilingual Spanish therapist with experience providing individual therapy to adults and children. Must be able to work independently and have good computer skills. Hours: Flexible 8 – 20 hours weekly; weekday, Saturday and evening hours are available.

Mental Health Professional – PT, SAP Position available. Provide rehabilitation services, contribute to and develop treatment plans and manage crisis for all residential clients. Handle referrals and discharges for residential services. Assist clients in obtaining/maintaining entitlements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Field or five years’ experience in Mental Health field; must have good computer skills. Willingness to work regularly scheduled hours, holidays and overtime in emergency situations. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with mentally ill adults, and to administer CPR.  Must have valid Illinois driver’s license, auto insurance and automobile. Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (18 hours per week)

Billing Office Assistant – PT Position available. Verify client insurance coverage and benefits. Verify client income and complete Fee Share Agreements. Data entry of client billing and insurance information. Post client and insurance payments and balance payments daily. Analyze denials & refunds and take appropriate steps for correction and resubmission. Review client accounts for billing errors, updates, and issue adjustments as needed. Qualifications: High School degree required; college degree preferred. Bilingual, Spanish preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a medical office setting with medical claims and processing denials. Possess a working knowledge of medical insurance terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem solving skills; able to anticipate problems/solve them as they occur. Thorough; attention to detail. Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. with some flexibility possible (24 hours per week).

Administrative Assistant – FT, Executive Position available. Provide support to the CEO with typing, proofreading and filing tasks. Assist CEO by maintaining electronic file storage, populating and aggregating reports, creating spreadsheets, maintaining agency surveys and agreements, preparing/distributing/collecting information, performing various administrative and clerical tasks, and assisting in advocacy, educational and research projects. Provide Board and Foundation support by scheduling, organizing, preparing, distributing and collecting meeting related and other information. Qualifications: High school graduate plus minimum three years office work experience including typing, maintaining statistics, creating spreadsheets and presentations, electronic file storage and providing administrative support. Excellent computer skills including internet, e-mail and Microsoft: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent attention to detail with good spelling and proofreading skills and excellent clerical, organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Must be diplomatic and personable in contact with board members, agency representatives and other community members, and able to maintain confidential information.  Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with some flexibility in starting/ending times (35 hour work week).
