Bilingual Intake/Assessment Specialist - FT, Case Management Position available. The Bilingual Intake/Assessment Specialist performs intakes and accepts and completes assigned assessments in a timely manner while evaluating clients for appropriate services and makes all necessary referrals, both within and outside the agency. Handles all inquiries related to mental health services including, but not limited to, completing intake paperwork for Ecker Center Services, scheduling assessments and providing referrals for services elsewhere. Assess urgency of which clients should receive services and forward information to appropriate level of services within agency. Assists clients in completing opening paperwork or coordinates with office and business staff for the completion of opening paperwork.  Monitors demand for comprehensive assessments and coordinates with the Case Management Supervisor or Intake/Assessment Coordinator. Assists in coordinating care with additional service providers both within Ecker Center, as well as other community agencies. Monitors and keeps referral information up to date. Responds to and tracks calls to the agency intake line. May participate in creating individualized treatment plans for a caseload that sees agency psychiatrists. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service field and 1year clinical experience. Must have a valid Illinois driver's license, auto insurance and automobile. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, if needed. Ability to read, write and speak Spanish fluently. Hours: Monday – Friday 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (35 hour work week).

Emergency Therapist – FT, PEP Position available. Provide emergency assessments and crisis intervention to adults and children at hospital emergency department in Elgin.  Arrange psychiatric hospitalization and referrals as necessary. Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in social services, social work or counseling required. Current LPC or LSW license required. Some crisis work experience preferred. Hours: Saturday 10:00 p.m. to Sunday 10:30 a.m., Sunday 10:00 p.m. – Monday 10:30 a.m. and Monday 10:00 p.m. – Tuesday 10:30 a.m. (34.5 hour work week, with some additional hours as needed.)

Staff Nurse –PT, Crisis Residential Position available. Counsel, coordinate treatment plans, and manage crises for assigned clients. Assess/evaluate and treat minor medical problems for Crisis Residential clients, and assist in scheduling medical appointments and lab tests in the community when necessary.  Qualifications: valid Illinois RN License.  Nursing experience in a mental health setting preferred. Must have valid Illinois driver’s license, automobile and auto insurance. Hours: Saturday and Sunday 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (16 hours per week) possible split for every other weekend.

Mental Health Professional – PT, 2 positions available. Provide rehabilitation services, contribute to and develop treatment plans and manage crisis for all residential clients. Handle referrals and discharges for residential services. Assist clients in obtaining/maintaining entitlements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Field or five years’ experience in Mental Health field and must have good computer skills. Willingness to work regularly scheduled hours, holidays and overtime in emergency situations. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with mentally ill adults, and to administer CPR.  Must have valid Illinois driver’s license, auto insurance and automobile.

SAP – Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (18 hours per week) OR

HUD – Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (18 hours per week)

Billing Office Assistant – PT Position available. Verify client insurance coverage and benefits. Verify client income and complete Fee Share Agreements. Data entry of client billing and insurance information. Post client and insurance payments and balance payments daily. Analyze denials & refunds and take appropriate steps for correction and resubmission. Review client accounts for billing errors, updates, and issue adjustments as needed. Qualifications: High School degree required; college degree preferred. Bilingual, Spanish preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a medical office setting with medical claims and processing denials. Possess a working knowledge of medical insurance terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem solving skills; able to anticipate problems/solve them as they occur. Thorough; attention to detail. Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. with some flexibility possible (24 hours per week).

Administrative Assistant – FT, Executive Position available. Provide support to the CEO with typing, proofreading and filing tasks. Assist CEO by maintaining electronic file storage, populating and aggregating reports, creating spreadsheets, maintaining agency surveys and agreements, preparing/distributing/collecting information, performing various administrative and clerical tasks, and assisting in advocacy, educational and research projects. Provide Board and Foundation support by scheduling, organizing, preparing, distributing and collecting meeting related and other information. Qualifications: High school graduate plus minimum three years office work experience including typing, maintaining statistics, creating spreadsheets and presentations, electronic file storage and providing administrative support. Excellent computer skills including internet, e-mail and Microsoft: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent attention to detail with good spelling and proofreading skills and excellent clerical, organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Must be diplomatic and personable in contact with board members, agency representatives and other community members, and able to maintain confidential information.  Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with some flexibility in starting/ending times (35 hour work week).
