Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – PT Psychiatric healthcare provider to see new and established patients for diagnosis, evaluation and medication management. Prescribe psychotropic medication consistent with accepted standards of care. Implement treatment strategies and refer to various disciplines and treatments within the agency. Develop professional and caring relationship with clients. Document clinical notes in the electronic medical record. Qualifications: Illinois Licensed Physician, Board Eligible/Certified in Psychiatry, current DEA license; OR Master's Degree in Nursing as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse. Current licensure in the State of Illinois. Prescriptive authority with a current DEA license. Hours: 24-28 hours/week, 3 or 4 day per week schedule.
Residential Coordinator – FT - SAP or HUD Position available. Position is 75% administrative and 25% direct service with on-call responsibilities. Provide supervision and clinical oversight for staff to ensure daily operations of apartments run smoothly. Complete counseling, crisis intervention, and clinical documentation as needed. Qualifications: Master’s degree and experience working with mentally ill adults, LCPC/LCSW. Supervisory experience in residential care a plus. Hours: 35 hour work week, flexible days, evenings/weekends as needed.
Emergency Therapist – Pool, PEP (primarily overnight) Position available. Provide emergency assessments and crisis intervention to adults and children at hospital emergency department in Elgin. Arrange psychiatric hospitalization and referrals as necessary. Qualifications: Masters degree in social services, social work or counseling required. Hours: Shifts as needed, primarily overnight.
Mental Health Professional – PT Position available. Provide rehabilitation services, contribute to and develop treatment plans and manage crisis for all residential clients. Handle referrals and discharges for residential services. Assist clients in obtaining/maintaining entitlements. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Human Service Field or five years experience in Mental Health field. Willingness to work regularly scheduled hours, holidays and overtime in emergency situations. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with mentally ill adults, and to administer CPR. Must have valid Illinois driver’s license, auto insurance and automobile. Hours: M- F, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.; 20 hour workweek
