The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) is a grass roots organization whose purpose is to improve conditions for persons with mental illness.

Greater Elgin Family Care Center - provides primary health care services to the uninsured and underserved residents of the City of Elgin and the surrounding area.

Lazarus House - An Emergency Shelter serving men, women and children connected to the Tri-Cities (St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia) or western rural Kane County who are homeless or at risk with safe shelter, food and support services.
