Residential Services The Crisis Residential Program is a small short-term residence for individuals, age 18 and over, in psychiatric crisis who need structured support outside of their normal living environment. The facility is unlocked, and people may come and go to work, school or other appointments and obligations. The program provides therapeutic support services with staff available 24 hours per day. Ecker Center has several other residential options that provide the support and the skill building that adults with mental illness need in order to move to more independent living situations. Staff work with residents on budgeting skills, apartment upkeep, medication monitoring/education, and community living. On-site staff are available to provide extensive support at the CILA House, Supported Apartment Program, Supervised Residential Program, and the HUD program. Residents of the scattered-site apartments receive support from their case managers on an as needed basis.
