Ecker's ATOD Prevention Services provide programming in schools and throughout the community to prevent underage drinking, vaping & illicit drug use, decrease risk factors, and increase protective measures in the community.

Prevention Specialists work collaboratively with other community-based organizations to help make our community a safer, healthier place for children to grow up.

Programs held during health classes and after school that empower youth through education include:
  • Alcohol Awareness Month activities

  • Cebrin Goodman Teen Institute (CGTI)

  • Communication campaigns to prevent underage alcohol use & vaping

  • Generation RX

  • Leadership Empowerment And Development (LEAD) summer program

  • National Prevention Week activities

  • Operation Snowball program

  • Red Ribbon Week activities

  • Too Good For Drugs program

  • Vaping Cessation Education program

  • Youth Empowering Students (YES) program

Parents are strongly encouraged to participate in our Parent Universities, which are presentations to educate parents on current trends, signs of drug & alcohol use, prevention strategies, and resources to obtain help.
